News: ‘Resilience and innovation’ of top PR firm praised at PRCA national awards

LONDON and New York strategic reputation management consultancy Lansons has won the International Consultancy of the Year award at this year’s Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) National Awards ceremony. 

Commending the winners, director general at the PRCA Francis Ingham said, “To be recognized as the International Consultancy of the Year is a testimony to Lansons’ entire team and in particular the leadership of Clare Parsons and Tony Langham. This year has demanded resilience, innovation and adaptability. They’ve shown that across the organization.”

More than 40 awards were presented in the online ceremony, which was hosted by Ed Byrne on November 10, 2020 and featured a number of different categories including B2B, crisis and issues management, digital and new media, employee engagement, health and well-being, media relations, and purpose.

Ollie Lane, managing director and head of education at PLMR Ltd, was the recipient of the PR Leader of the Year Award, and Hélène Legay, consultant at APCO, received the Young Communicator of the Year Award.

Pangolin – The Glenlivet Capsule Collection won the International Campaign Award for a consultancy and the in-house prize was awarded to the International SOS – Covid-19 Insight and Intelligence Campaign.

“This year proved how strong our industry is and how central PR and communications is to every single organization,” said Ingham.
