News: Winners of PRCA MENA digital awards 2021 announced

THE PRCA MENA Digital Awards took place this week to celebrate the best in digital PR and communications across The Middle East and North Africa.

The annual ceremony (in its third year) was held at the Cheeky Camel, Bonnington Hotel, JLT, Dubai and presented by Laura Naylor, TV & Radio presenter/Emcee & Host. The winners are Digital Team of the Year – Weber Shandwick MENAT; Digital Professional of the Year – Shannon O’Neill, Seven Media; Best Digital Journalist of the Year – Natasha Hatherall-Shawe, Tish Tash; Best Use of Video in a Campaign – Weber Shandwick MENAT; Best Use of Social Influencers in a Campaign – MG Motor & Performance Communications; Best Use of Reporting and Measurement in a Campaign – W7 Worldwide Marketing Communications Consultancy Agency; Best Social Media Campaign – UAE Government Media Office; Best Use of Content Marketing in a Campaign – DMCC Authority; Best Use of Content Marketing in a Campaign – ASDA’A BCW; Best Performance in a Digital Campaign – Cicero and Bernay Communication Consultancy; Best Use of Paid Media in a Campaign – Weber Shandwick MENAT; and Best Digital Marketing Campaign – UAE Government Media Office.

Hayley Clements (pictured), general manager, PRCA MENA, said, “It was wonderful to see so many familiar industry PR and communications celebrate their accomplishments over the last 12 months. We all know it hasn’t been the easiest of times, but it is evident the new way of working has been embraced by our community and wholly proves the digital impact in the PR and communications space. The MENA Digital Awards created the perfect opportunity to allow attendees to network and celebrate their outstanding work. The awards, which were sponsored by 3Gem, united the regions PR and communications community to recognise and celebrate the truly great work that has taken place across the region during another difficult year.
