THE first incorporated partnership of international corporate affairs executive search firms was launched today. The Corporate Affairs Search Alliance (CASA) brings together six market-leading boutique corporate affairs executive search firms to create the “Home of Corporate Affairs”. CASA offers client organisations the opportunity to access the best corporate affairs leaders from around the world via this unique network of highly knowledgeable and unified members.

Each CASA member is an independent boutique firm conducting executive level searches across the corporate affairs landscape (including communications, public affairs, investor relations, marketing and ESG). The founding firms include Addison (Ireland), Exeter Search (France), Herman Rutgers (Netherlands), Ithaca Partners (UK), Patino Associates (USA), and PRCC (Germany).

Alex Gordon Shute of Ithaca Partners, said, “The beauty of CASA is that each of these independent firms have come together in a unified way based on our shared values, ethics and high professional standards. What binds us is our unwavering commitment to excellence in corporate affairs leadership and searching for the best talent globally on behalf of our clients.”

Mike Patino of Patino Associates, said, “Our firms are unequivocally aligned in terms of values, integrity, quality, style and approach in how we conduct our searches and run our businesses. If you have worked with one of the founding firms in the past, working with another member of CASA will feel seamless, either as a client or a candidate.”

CASA members have also committed the full resources of their respective firms that extend beyond executive search to the promise of “Making Corporate Affairs Better”. In addition to the executive search works that unifies CASA, member companies offer consulting, coaching, and training capabilities. The firms can assist a wide range of organisations, from large global corporations and NGOs, to emerging high-growth businesses at the beginning of their corporate affairs journey. “Together CASA stretches and strives to help the corporate affairs function to meet the complex, unique and increasing demands of the world today,” said Philip Mueller of PRCC.

CASA also offers the opportunity for candidates seeking to relocate abroad to tap into the network for corporate affairs executive roles. The CASA vision is that member firms should be the ‘Home of Corporate Affairs’ in each market, so that individual senior corporate affairs professionals know they have a stable, valuable and guiding influence in their careers regardless of which sector or which employer organisation they work for at the time. Susie Farrell of Addison Search said, “Extending the scope of possibilities in corporate affairs for Irish firms and Irish candidates is exciting. Both groups will get a tangible benefit from CASA.”

Petra Herman of Herman Rutgers Executive Search, said, “Since the number of international HQ offices based in the Netherlands has grown, the need for an international perspective on corporate affairs has become critical for multinationals. With CASA, we can share knowledge and insights on markets, industries and trends. Clients will get even better results from their international searches.”

Kim Johnson of Exeter Search said, “The French market will really benefit from this international perspective on corporate affairs talent. Having already partnered with CASA members in support of French clients, we are delighted to formalise this alliance and share it more broadly with the world.”
